OK, text color in system: prefs/fonts
shadow-color must be changed in scalos-palette
Press 'pen-adjust' and have a look at 'Text OutlinePen'
Compare the pen number:
in scalos palette i have 1=black 2=white etc
just drag'n drop the wanted color (2 i guess) onto the 'Text OutlinePen'

Position/snapshot works for me
See if the icon in scalos/icons is write-protected (shouldn't, but who knows)
Seems fine, strange cause snapshot works on any other folder except that one!

Ok I found out the reason why, once I put all the files in the pc folder in seperate folders, it seems to save ok now. Maybe it wont save if theres messy mixed files.

Have a look at the ExoticA game iconpacks:
http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Exoticons

Grab the newicon archive
the 3.5 are for WB 3.5/9

The palette is not set correctly, normally newicons handle this.
D'you set the screenmode to less colors?
else it could be you installed newicons over Scalos, i'll upload the scalos
newicons.library to the zone. put it to system:libs (rename or backup the existent one)

@GH
I'll admit that I could be considered a tart myself, more often than not , but only some people are allowed to call me that (that's where the difference is). Since that was nicely asked, I am OK to try harder to stay ontopic. At least, it is written I could be of some help to determine her preferred ClassicWB flavor.

In short, I am not too sure Kitty will get through these new 3.1 based experiments (assuming I am allowed to express this opinion), but I hope she will.

Don't take my word for it :

Also "look" is very subjective so I let the end user customize to their taste rather than force patches and hacks upon them that often cause incompatibility issues. It's certainly not or ever will be an eye candy Winuae beast; that would kind of defeat it's objectives.

Good luck !

Another idea could be you simply ran out of free-pens!
in scalos/prefs/scalos is a newicons tab - push the slider to the right and see if that helps.

Did that didnt seem to change anything.

Once I have confirmation that my Libs folder is correct, I'll copy the newicons.libraby over.

Ok I copied over newicons.library and it overwrote the other one, but the robocop icon is still the same after reboot, so I guess its not that.

No problem You can simply get them from the preinstalled versions again if that happens again. You can try it with the Robocop icon now

It change the quality of the icons, means less pens are used.
on AGA you have 256 pens(colors) at the same time, on colorfull screens this can be reached fast.

Kitty is using 3.1 with newicon so classicWB file is overwritten (and it's not 3.5)
