CD (ISO Image Support) Amiga 1200

Hi,

I'm trying to attach a CD ISO Image to the standard Amiga 1200 machine type. I can add the Image File, but it's not there when I launch the Amiga.

Its fine on the Workbench 3.X Enhanced version, but I would rather just use the Vanilla 1200.

I have attached an image of the Media Tab.

Since your configuration there is using a boot floppy, does it have CD0 in DEVS: DOSDrivers? That's the first thing I would check. Also make sure that L: CDFileSystem exists, and that the DEVICE and UNIT tooltypes on the icon for DEVS: DOSDrivers/CD0 are correct.

In WinUAE at least (upon which Amiga Forever is based), you don't need a DOSDriver or CD filesystem to mount a CD image unless you're doing complete device emulation. There is a setting to enable the built-in CDFS - perhaps this option is disabled? I don't know where it is in Amiga Forever, but in WinUAE it's in the hard drives section.

Thanks both. I swapped to WinUAE and that work as Daedalus describes. I have reached out to Amiga Forever support to find out what's happening. Cheers
