A1200 BPPC? problems

Hi all,

I am experiencing some weird problems with my 1200 1D1 & 1D4 boards.

What is happening is when I have my BPPC (060 & PPC 240MHz) with Flash 44.71 & 64MB of ram installed on either of the boards my hardrives are only seen at power on and then every second reboot. This is preventing me from booting after selecting no user-startup, or disabling say one or more of my partitions. This only happens with the accelerator card installed.

Also if I put my 4-Device buffered ide interface http://ocau.com/pix/i3k2z in the machine will not boot from harddrive. The power light gets full brightness and the screen flickers and that is it, just sits there doing nothing, then the insert disk screen pops up. This dose not happen if I remove the accelerator and use the onboard cpu. A reboot results in the same as above.

Possible PSU, it's on the border of *just* giving enough juice on a cold start but fails on a warm start. Grab an A1200 converter from Amigamaniac and power it up off a PC PSU.

I get the same problem when I try to put a SCSI to IDE converter, with a IDE to CF with my 4000.

It either does not boot, or it boots and then crashes.

Cyberstorm 060/128MB, CyberScsi, SCSI to IDE, CF.
Indivision AGA.

But the CF is fine by itself on the onboard IDE.., Cant be arsed looking in to regutting the PSU with more Amps on the 5V rail.

No not power the 160W PicoPSU outputs Max 8A on 5 & 12v rails with a Peak of 10A on 5v & 15A on 12v. I have run a 5v wire directly from the PSU to the floppy header so the board has equalized power. I think it is the Flashrom version of BPPC.

The BPPC Rev 0 has flash version 44.71, should I keep it or revert to 44.67 or 44.33. As a side note I have a BVisionPPC that I need to setup so I will need to have whatever Flash version makes it work.
