Aside from the Amiga, retrocomputing in general, a bit of gaming, coding, electronics, engineering and technology in general, travel, music, photography, vintage engineering - steam trains in particular, bits of sport (playing 5-a-side, cycling), cars, beer, food, history (particularly military history), reading, probably more... Basically, I've way too many hobbies and interests, most of which I simply have no time for these days, with a toddler taking up almost all of my spare time these days.

I'm a keen photographer (I've kinda moved from amateur to being able to call myself a professional photographer, since I've had a few commissions now), I mostly shoot urban still lifes, brutalist architecture, graffiti, music gigs, etc.
Other than that, I'm involved in a burgeoning electronic music scene in Liverpool (I'm part of the Emotion Wave collective), where we put on music events, a monthly radio show on Melodic Distractions website, and we're about to become a record label (we're putting the finishing touches on our first CD release). I am the groups de-facto photographer, and I also do the occasional DJ set, and I contribute to the monthly radio show. I'm also into the Amiga, and computers in general. |

With the little bits of free time I get, I do martial arts (Taekwondo varient) with my daughter (we go for our black belts in August), outdoor volleyball (sand and grass), dabble in electronics and coding projects, repairing computers for my friends and family when they mess them up, reading on quantum mechanics and field theory, and trying to spend quality time with my wife and daughter.

+ 1 for Cars.
Had several "Fast and furious" era cars. Then I grew up and had some Alfa's and a Beetle. Now I'm the proud owner of a Porsche Cayman S VROOM VROOM!!!! [ Show youtube player ] Hoping to do a tarmac rally in the next 5 years, but tempted to build an Alfa to do that in, because my Cayman is too pretty lol. Dont want to scratch it. Have done several amateur events including a 2 day classic rally when I had a 350Z Roadster. Excuse the REALLY cheesy fake interview style video [ Show youtube player ] |
