Have to share this :)
Hi All
I recently took a punt on an Amiga 500 on Ebay for £17, seller did not know if it worked, no cables no nothing, just the machine in pretty good condition.... Today I found out it all worked |

That's great Mate, sometimes it pays to take a small gamble, if it was broken then chances are there would be usable parts that could be used to fix another one and work out cheaper than buying separate parts like floppy drives or chips etc that sometimes go for exorbitant prices.

It's nice to have a stock A500 for those old games that refuse to work on any other set up... nice bit of luck there!

Nice purchase, I managed to pick up today an A1200 complete with 8MB expansion card for £40 incl P&P which I thought was a good deal.

Thanks fitzsteve, I have already got that same setup but I couldn't resist it , lol. Btw, added you on PS3
That is awesome and puts my purchase to shame I've only ever been to probably about 3 car boot sales in my whole life, seems I could be missing out on some bargains. |

Lol, I would say I work hard but my job isn't that hard tbh, hence why I spend most of my time on IRC. Actually my missus bought me my Wii (birthday) and Xbox 360 (Christmas) and my sister bought me my PS3 (Christmas). I've bought every other console I have tho.

Hehe, there's one just along the road from me I may have to pop along and see what I can find. If I find anything I'll let ya know. If it's on, they're not normally on around this time of year are they?
