Yes it is unfortunately. This round has turned into a bit of a non-event really.

Here you go Mr pushy

I've tried like hell this last week to beat that score and it just ain't happening I friggin hate this game now.

I'm pretty sure this game is impossible if you play with autofire on so you don't have "build" I could reach level 3 in my younger years no problem but that score is the only time i managed to reach the level 2 boss ........... then got wasted.

I "might" fire this game up again before the comp ends but for now i'm off to have a nervous breakdown

And just like everyone else, im ready to murder Project-X as it continually proceeds to give me frustration beyond belief !!!!. Now i know why i was VERY impressed with this game when it came out from a technical standpoint, but ABSOLUTELY HATED IT as a game!!!

You can still use the ADFs on your real Amiga if you transfer them to floppy

My point was not to use the WHDLoad version if it crashes

Has anyone got past the 2nd boss with autofire on using either plasma, magma or lazer? Or do you need to use "build"

Lightbulb

Easiest way to do it would be to use a stealth. But you will still need Full Plasma/Laser/Magma, and Full missiles to get a quick kill. I've seen it done like this.

On my last run I was one short of a full Plasma, and the stealth went off too early and I soon lost a life. That left me screwed.

Well im getting the same problem with the game crashing too, but normally for me the game crashes back to workbench after it decrunches the 1st level with an exception error showing up. and then after a system reboot its doing the same thing, although if i try it the next day its ok again for a short while. !?. I dont think its my chipset playing up, since every other game works fine!?.

So im not trying anymore!, this is my first and only highscore for Project-X i will be posting up.

It seems to be a challenge just getting the game to work for a reasonable amount of time... I don't blame you for not having another go to be honest.

Although a pic of your score would be nice

EDIT: Oh, you've done it now
