Thumbs up Pixel Artist New To Amiga

Hi guys,
Well where do I start.. I rarely if ever played any amiga growing up but have found that as I get older despite loving my snes and mega drive - I long sometimes for something a little different.
That is when I stumbled onto the Amiga and I'll be honest there are so many games I have not played that each day is quite exciting to find new content, watch reviews and learn more about this great system.

I am a pixel artist that would be more than willing to help any little projects. You can check some of my earlier work on my deviatart page (the links below). Games I like are the obvious ones; Cannon Fodder, Dark Seed, Turrican, Dreamweb, The Chaos Engine and Speedball 2.. I love anything cyber punk so if there are any projects/games like that then let me know.

Thanks and look forward to chatting.

Chris

Welcome

You should check games like: Bloodnet, Universe, Beneath a steel sky, maybe Turrican 3 . Syndicate is also very cyber-punk mood game, but controls may be hard sometiems. Amiga got lot of games and some of them are real gems worth to try.

Welcome

Regarding pixel art (and Deluxe Paint), a project which looks very nice is:

(a Deluxe Paint-inspired pixel art drawing available for most operating systems )

Haha, I think some of my work is on artcity - made on amiga (uae/personalpaint) and expanded on in gimp for a pcdemo i did back in '10
It is, it seems! and it's the big version, not the small version used in the demo

Thank you Turrican3. That is my earlier work to be honest and I have improved since then but yeah I like that snake sprite as well. So are there any homebrew projects being developed for the amiga?
