Question Assign command

Some times to install a game or a program an assign command is needed
to refer to its directory.
For games I usually create a script to be launched by an icon containing
the assign and the whole path to that drawer. Example:

assign Defektris: DH1:GAMES/CLASSICS/Defektris
Defektris.exe

Unfortunately if, for some reasons, tomorrow I'll decide to move that directory the .exe will not start and I'll have to rewrite the script
with the new path.

Is it possible to assign an indipendent path to avoid it, for istance
on creating something like this? ...

assign Defektris: currentdirectory
Defektris.exe
