GAMES: 1) impossible to complete, 2) almost completed, 3) you will complete
Hi.I am interested in your opinion about:
1. Which Amiga Games were impossible to complete without cheats ?(ultra, mega, very difficult, etc) For me: Shadow of the Beast 1 (brrr - nightmare for me) Wrath of Demon - (poor control, very dificult) Fire and Brimstone - (very difficult, traps were everywhere - my record 4th level without cheats). Kid Chaos (superb game for me - but world 2 - after garden, with speed checkpoints was ultra difficult) 2. Which Amiga Games did you almost complete (almost, but not to the end...) Swiv (last boss) Elf (Ocean) - very, very far Fire and Ice ( I wanted to complete it by one time, from start to the end without codes or level selection) Pang... 3. Do you want to complete any amiga games in near future?? (on emu or real amiga) Yes... Traps'n Treasures (great gameplay, and very good levels, weapons, enemies...) Benefactor (no comments) Marvin Marvellous Adventure (i like mario clones) Fire and Ice Elf Pang, Rainbow Islands (maybe on MAME emu). Greetings. I am looking forward for Your's opinions and sorry for my english . |

Impossible to complete without cheats
Shadown of the Beast I & II + Many many of the games I have ever owned Which Amiga Games did you almost complete Rainbow Islands - Last Level, end boss. I was never able to figure out a tactic, always got bathed in flames, dammit. Eye of the Beholder II, one of the last levels, got fed up after walking around an empty level for hours. Couldn't figure out what to do. Cannon Fodder - got really far, but it just started becoming impossble as far I I could make out. + probably a couple more I can't remember. Do you want to complete any amiga games in near future? For a long time was Beneath a Steel Sky, but I did that one recently. Lucus Arts adventures Eye of the Beholder II (about time a 4th game came out I reckon!) Dungeon Master Fire and Ice Cadaver "Payoff" ... + too many more to list! One day... one day... |

There should have been a door somewhere and there wasnt Do you want to complete any amiga games in near future? Cadaver Cadaver The Payoff Heimdall Rainbow Islands Loads of others that I hope to still discover Last edited by Dastardly; 30 September 2004 at 12:32. |

1. Which Amiga Games were impossible to complete without cheats ?(ultra, mega, very difficult, etc)
I finished ShadowOfTheBeast without cheat, just one time.. and because I finished lot of times before with cheat. It was an exercise of memory. Also SWIV, I found pretty easy. Althought nowadays I do not complete it, mainly because I have no joystick with emulation. Mainly I find impossible to finish the Graftgold games,. are games just too long and too hard.. even all are wonderful games,.. more than wonerful these games are: RainbowIslands, Paradroid, Virocop, Fire&Ice 2. Which Amiga Games did you almost complete (almost, but not to the end...) Z-out, I always reach the endboss but I never defeat it ShadowDancer, I never pass of one of the latest stages. 3. Do you want to complete any amiga games in near future?? (on emu or real amiga) Legends, ArabianNights and some more,.. |

1. Which Amiga Games were impossible to complete without cheats ?(ultra, mega, very difficult, etc) Beast 1 & 2 . It came from the desert - never could figure out how you get into the ant-hole 3. Do you want to complete any amiga games in near future?? Npl, I think you'll be disappointed with Dreamwed.....
1) Shadow of the Beast 2. 2) There are LOTS here..., many game experiences were frozen abruptly when my amiga died.. Alien Breed 2 - Got to the Military building, when it asks for disk 3.... it doesn't work The Chaos Engine - I got to the last boss many times and could never beat it. That laser balls or whatever it was were TOO Damn fast, I could never get close to the reactors. Uridium 2 - I don't remember exactly where I stopped playing, but it was very, VERY close to the ending Elfmania - MAnaged to get 4 circles in a row.... this is the only 1x1 beat'em up EVER which is a BITCH to finish... Pang - Got very close to the ending. I want to get the Pang collection on PSX, but never found it. Wizkid - There was always 1 kitten missing to get to the last stage. What really pissed me off is that I had solved EVERY damn puzzle of the game WITHOUT using any walkthrough (Even though I had 2, The ONe published it twice). I KNEW the whole solution for the game but I NEVER managed to do everything right in the SAME game, and then my amiga died... 3)I'll change that to games I WISH I had finished (Except the ones above) Cannon Fodder - my version was faulty and it didn't save, so I always had to play in one sitting. Level 9 was my better play, very far of finishing it. Benefactor - I LOVED that game, but I got badly stuck in one level, and well.. got stuck Disposable Hero - level 5 was my dying point. This game was so cool, and in The One review they said the ending was a good surprise.. I always wanted to get there, but never achieved.. :/ |

Well....
Unpossible: The Plague, R-Type, ...and many more. Can't remember the real unpossible ones since I deleted them all. Almost finished: Lost Vikings, Sword of Sodan, Rise of Robots, Beast 1, Wonderdog, Chase HQ II Want to finish: Goblins III, Lost Vikings, Beast 1,..... By the way: I finished Wrath of the Demon and it isn't that difficult if you know that you can save the game at every screen between levels ( use CTRL-S ) Also, Gods is much more difficult in the cracked ( simply copied ) version as in the original !! This is part of a un-recognized copyprotection. |

Which Amiga Games were impossible to complete without cheats ?
Bump 'n' Burn. The computer had a way of cheating so that no matter how far ahead of the other players you put yourself they always manage to catch up. That and the Boss Racer, Dark Helmet or whatever his name was, had a car so souped up that unless you used the cheat you could never attain 1st Place. Which Amiga Games did you almost complete I don't think there are any Amiga games that I "almost" completed. I either did or I didn't. Do you want to complete any amiga games in near future? Litil Divil, SuperFrog, Beneath a Steel Sky. |
