is there any possible way to use your FS-UAE netplay feature to be compatible with a real Amiga connected to the internet? I understand it could have a difference in kickstarts cause everyone must have the same rom..
No, this isn't possible. You won't be banned for asking, though

After checking some Screenshot images, I tested a few games with shader = atari-color-fix
The ones that I respond with yes, I believe you can add them to the list with the half-tone bug
Can someone else also confirm?

Future Sport http://hol.abime.net/4576 I believe yes
Hell Raiser http://hol.abime.net/3657 I believe yes
HeroQuest http://hol.abime.net/698 I believe yes
HeroQuest: Return Of The Witch Lord http://hol.abime.net/699 could not find to test
Hostages http://hol.abime.net/738 I believe yes
Night Walk http://hol.abime.net/975 I believe yes (crappy old game)
Obitus http://hol.abime.net/2275 I believe yes

Final Battle, The http://hol.abime.net/535 I was wrong, no
Heavy Metal Heroes - Outlands http://hol.abime.net/683 I was wrong, no

Hello, I've built version 2.6.2 from source on Gentoo and I'm getting an error
Code:
Error: Missing GL version
FATAL: Error initializing glew
AL lib: (EE) alc_cleanup: 1 device not closed
Do I need to be building with a particular version of GLEW?

Not as I'm aware of. I'm guessing your OpenGL setup isn't completely sane... (if so, you might have issues with other OpenGL applications as well).

I got to the bottom of it. I had built SDL without opengl support. I only started using Gentoo last week and I'm still getting the hang of things.

Not a good way, in any case. It should be possible by using the option writable_floppy_images, while also making sure that the .adf file(s) is write-protected on the host OS. A better way (via config) is needed.

Code:
shader = atari-color-fix
(But don't use with other games which don't need the fix )

As it happens, I have created such a filter (shader) and included it with FS-UAE as default. Put the following in custom configuration:

Code:
shader = atari-color-fix
atari-color-fix multiplies RGB components by 2.0, which gives a result equivalent to doubled colours on a real OCS/ECS Amiga: "ST white" 7:7:7 maps to 24-bit grey 238:238:238.

For anyone who's picky enough, you can modify the shader to do better. Instead of multiplying by 2.0, multiply by 252/119 (= 2.11764706 approx). Then ST white maps to 24-bit 252:252:252 which is almost full white.

And for ST-ported games which already have doubled RGB components, copy the shader and change the coefficient to 252/238 (= 1.05882353 approx). [Examples of games like that: Gods, Xenon, Guild of Thieves, Rolling Thunder. There are probably many more.]

Hello guys!
I would like to know what would the syntax be so I could map all Joystick Events that are selected only from a specific port in FS-UAE.

The example below works but I need to configure more buttons to do more actions.
joystick_port_1_primary=action_key_shift_left
joystick_port_1_secondary=action_key_shift_right

This is an example for what I need to accomplish but it doesn't work for me (as you see I mention the port number):
joystick_port_1_tertirary=action_key_shift_right
joystick_port_1_button_9=action_pause
joystick_port_1_button_4=action_key_shift_left

The example below works with specifying a joystick number, but since I have multiple joysticks, I only want to use the joystick that is selected for a specified port.
joystick_0_left_trigger=action_key_amiga_left

Can someone help? Thanks in advance!

It looks like only primary and secondary buttons are supported: https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/fs-u...oystick.c#L132

BTW: you can also configure joysticks by name not only by number, maybe this is helpful for you....

Is there a END+<number> shortcut in FS-UAE ?
(in WinUAE this shortcut allows quick disk swapping)

Thanks Jbl007! That confirms it.

I cant actually use a specific name at the moment cause the main purpose for me is to keep a universal setting for any joystick connected as players may want to switch their primary controller while playing.
To be more precise, I need to use this with the AmigaLive front-end so any joystick at any moment can be switched.

Thanks again for checking!

Sorry for reposting but can't find any information about this on the official site nor on the net (so I assume there is not such shortcut but I ask just in case of). Does someone know if such shortcut exists in FS-UAE ?

Based on old post (2012-2014), I can see that "END+<number>" shortcut for disk swapping has already been asked.

@Frode : Is there any plan to add such a feature in a forthcoming release ?

Edit: Oups... Last activity from Frode on EAB was on 11 May 2018... Hope he will come back here soon

Hello Malko, you can use
floppy_drive_0 = GameDisk1.adz
floppy_image_0 = GameDisk1.adz
floppy_image_1 = GameDisk2.adz
floppy_image_2 = GameDisk3.adz
floppy_image_3 = SaveDisk.adf

keyboard_key_ctrl_f1 = action_drive_0_insert_floppy_0
keyboard_key_ctrl_f2 = action_drive_0_insert_floppy_1
keyboard_key_ctrl_f3 = action_drive_0_insert_floppy_2
keyboard_key_ctrl_f3 = action_drive_0_insert_floppy_3

You can actually use all the function keys for this... the only problem would be with Monkey Island 2 (12 Disks) or Street Fighter 2 Turbo AGA (15?? Disks)...
or just download the WHDload version and forget about of floppy swapping... http://www.whdownload.com/

Thanks !
It's a nice workaround you propose me indeed.
More work in the config file but interesting workaround. Furthermore I think no game use "CTRL+F<number>" in game. Will give a try .

PS: You have a funny pseudonymous name .
