I'm running Windows 7 [64-bit], all works fine.
OK. Explained. When i downloaded your pack, i updated WinUAE to 3.6.1 64 bits, so the .IPFs dont run me. ¿You recommend 32 bit version?

Thanks for the PM

Yes, aside from the most important part already mentioned; "gives more people on different favours of MS OS the ability to use without changing anything".

Using the 64-bit version doesn't add anything important as yet unless your using 3.1+ OS's i.e. more RAM available so...

@DamienD

Thanks for the link. All downloaded and installed. Very impressive work

I've never been a fan of scan lines but it seems to work well with this setup on my laptop.

Just one point I'd like to raise

I was wondering if on multi disk games that require the additional disks to be in DF0: could you use diskswapper in the configuration?

i.e. Super Space Invaders asks for disc 2 and then to press enter. I've setup diskswapper to hold discs 1 + 2 and use this facility to swap discs.

Hope you are doing ok - break-ups and the emotional fallout are hard. Never feel embarrassed if you need to visit a therapist or talk to some close friends

No problem at all, have fun!!!

...and don't forget the tricks to get rid of boring loading times:

  • Set "Floppy Drive Emulation Speed" to "800%" (which works fine for 95% of games).
  • Toggle "Warp" mode on / off i.e. <End> + <Pause>.

You know, when I first started this back in 2005 I didn't know about the diskswapper... would have been good to use this for every game from the very beginning but...

Saying the above, any game that has usually more than 4 disks has the diskswpper slots populated though

Sorry Damien not long seen this. It crashed when I tried it with 3.1 so just replaced it with 3.0 and worked ok. I'll try another kickstart 3.1 to see if mine is faulty.

Yup, need to correct those...

Along with Silk Worm --> Silkworm.

Will be done in Update Pack #5; which I'm currently working on

I'm all downloaded and set up again now after forgetting to backup your collection during a reinstall of Windows. I noticed the AGA version of Gunship 2000 is not cracked, it asks for a code to take off. There is a cracked version in TOSEC. Not sure if there is a reason why you used the extended adfs. Thanks, and awaiting pack 5 !

Hmmm, can't remember the reason...

There are the manuals in the gamedir so you should be able to get the required code.

Will look into a good cracked copy though.

Not sure I understood this. There are lots of cracked versions of Persian Gulf Inferno but you used an IPF of North Sea Inferno ?

Yeah, neither am I

...was positive that I used a cracked / trained version but there are none for "The North Sea Inferno"

Will be fixed in Update Pack #5.
