rune bombs in leader

How do you use the runebombs in leander? Tried to find some info bout this game concerning this but with no luck.. any ideas?

I think the runebombs are the end-of-level keys you will need to finish a level. When you are in posession of a rune bomb and find an exit, which often has the shape of a rune or gate, you can enter it and the level will be finished.

no couse runebombs are availible in the shops also.. some kind of weapon i guess but i haven´t been able to figure out how to use these...

I think the purpose of the rune bombs is to kill some ghost which will appear from time to time.
I have never seen this ghost myself, but I think that is what I read in the docs to the game.
To activate them you have to press down & fire, but don't press to long because then you will die !
You can find docs for Leander on LSD docs disc 25.

Hmmm, I never could figure out what the rune bombs were, but I always thought the down+fire move was a special move that could kill everything on the screen (which it does), and that the penalty for using such a move was loosing a life.

I'm sure when I press down+fire, but not for too long, nothing happens. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe this is another symptom of that badly cracked version which I played for so many years...

well i tried it but you loose a life but you never loose the rune bombs i think... gotto check it out. by the way i don´t think you loose a life i think you just loose some of you lifestatus.. going from black to green etc.. if i remember right. so it´s only quite useable when you are on the higher lifestatus color things. but the thing that you don´t loose any runebombs is quite strange and made me think if runebombs was some kind of other weapon not yet discovered by me.. well well. it´s a great game anyway.

I didn't check - just wrote that out of my mind.

But check out the instructions on the LSD disk 25 ! I know rune bombs are mentined there and how to use them.

LSD doc discs should be available on planetemu.net or maybe also on amigamos.com.
