Does anyone provide an .ADF to disk service?
Hello
I am looking for someone who is capable of converting an .adf of our p.d game to a physical disk. The .adf has never been on an actual disk yet as our game was updated in emulation (Renegades Deluxe ). Is there someone who can help me please and how much would that person charge for this service? I would prefer someone in the U.K as I am in the U.K, and would be looking to keep postage costs sensible. I have looked into doing it myself but I am beyond useless at this sort of thing. I am wanting an actual disk version of our game so I can make myself a Big-Box physical copy for my shelf for posterity based on the same style box as Gods (with the slip front). Thanks very much to anyone wishing to help me in this. |

If you haven't implemented some kind of copy protection, anyone who can transfer the .adf to his or her Amiga can write it to a floppy.

Thankyou so much! I will contact you via P.M to discuss address and also a little something for your time (and postage payments etc).
I have yet to play our update on my 1200 and really cannot wait to do so! |

@LordNipple
The adf is written to the floppies and has been tested on my 4000D. I'll set my 1200 up tomorrow and double check that the discs work on it. |

Thankyou to all your replies and offers of help!
Thanks Nobby_UK! I rarely get to Liverpool as I don't drive but I really appreciate your offer! Thankyou! Lesta_smsc, you're a star thankyou very much, I will be printing the disk lable here, I would have loved to have produced direct to disk printing but it's beyond me, and Bitmap Brothers used lables so I think it will look great with a lable, thanks again for your offer, I have pretty much sorted that now. I didn't expect so many offers of help. You're all awesome. |

I am REALLY excited about this.
I can't thank you enough. I am designing the full box this weekend to look both retro and hopefully cool at the same time. I have done some material tests to see how the box will look/feel and I am confident it will look great on the shelf. I am currently designing the booklet to go with it, I am going over the top on our little P.D game but it's something I have wanted for years. Thanks again! |

Amiga will never die!

I've been thinking this for years, should we start a new PD library with an online shop/order form, and send out freshly written floppies to those who still want them? There have been plenty of new PD releases in recent years and the service could offer to write just about an (legal) ADF/DMS file to disk for the customer. I have plenty of floppies here, both old and brand new that I could use. It wouldn't be for profit, just a service to the Amiga community.

With the help of Davideo I was able to finally play Renegades Deluxe on my 1200s yesterday and it felt amazing. I am amazed at how helpful the Amiga community is.
I am currently working on the design for the box so I can have a boxed copy for my shelf. I am all for a new P.D library/service to come into play, I am actually amazed there isn't one already. |

Well hopefully there will be a push towards more use of the service in the future.
