Player Manager trouble

Just discovered emulators and so happy to be playing the old classics again.

My favourite game is Player Manager but i cant get it passed "insert formatted disk in drive a".

I am using WINUAE2320 and have tried a few versions of P.M.

I have tried ejecting the adf i use to load the game, creating a adf and putting it in the dfo, then pressing ok. i then press ok on the "load disk" screen and it just flickers and the message stays the same.

I also tried a file that alkis21 sent me and that comes back with the message "file error".

I have searched many forums and found that others have had the same problem, as i am new to the scene i have been unable to come up with a solution.

My girlfriend and two little boys are starting to question my sanity because of the hours i have put into this problem. Even at work i find my self thinking about it.

Any help would be great.

Try the WHDLoad version

Thanks for your reply. I tried it and it just flickered back to the same message "insert....."

What exactly did you do? Because I highly doubt that the WHDLoad version displays any "Insert Disk" requesters.

True Stingray...
I`ve just started a new game in PM, made a new disk ( within Winuae ( standard disk ))
Inserted disk when it asked.. ( it did take about 30-40 seconds ) then it went into the game...

As i said, i am new to this so i have probably done something wrong.

I created a new season with a version i have and when it asked for the formatted disk, i ejected the game disk, inserted the file you gave me and pressed ok. i then pressed ok on the insert disk screen.
