BlizKick problem

When using BlizKick in WinUAE I cannot get the NewAlert module to work. It wont replace the alert.hook in the exec.library (45.20). Has anyone else had the same problem?

Remove "QUIET" from the line and read the error message. If you tell it to hide all messages, then it's your own fault that you don't see what's going wrong.

Maybe try with the Alertfix module or if you use the romfixes module, make sure it is after newalert.

Errm, is AlertFix not for PPC's then?

romfixes is already after newalert and alertfix just makes instant crash!

Well it was worthy a shot. romfixes has the alertfix built in, so just needed to be sure it places its patches after newalert. theres nothing ppc only about alertfix though. (even though it does also patch the internal 68xxx.lib )

Ah OK then. Seem to remember reading in manual alertfix was for a certain red screen PPC boot problem or something like that!
