Well the blue color used for the 'profile', 'email' ... button row is more than just horrible. This color absolutely doesn't fit to the others...as if you had a brown carpet in your living-room and then bought pink furniture to "fit" to it...

Well, it does seem refreshing to change the general look of it.

But then again I say it's refreshing to any site that changes its graphics, just like those recent sites I linked to (although you haven't completely changed things, obviously ).

Surely it'll be better than ever and it's normal to experience some odd things in the process:

the colors on the forum view where you can see where there are new posts is a bit hard to see one from the other.

I thought that too Drake.

The colour of the "unread threads" icon is too close to the "read threads" icon.

Monkeeeyy!!!

@Ian, like your Avatar

I was a great fan and watched this series back in the early eighties. If anyone didnt know, the series is now out on video and can be bought from HMV (in the UK).

Imagine my surprise when about 15 years after the series ended I found out that the Tripitaka (prob spelt wrong) was actually a girl!!

Same goes for the read/unread PM-icons.
Improved...

The purple background of the tables may be changed so that the blue color andreas mentioned may look better. the new "profile" "email" icons were ok but the old purple look needs to be adapted to it

maybe all #8080A6 's can be changed to #004080 or something similar

Great work RCK

I'm also pleased that snowman has gone as it was giving me some problems.

BTW That’s better now you changed the unread threads" icon back to yellow.

EDIT
@Burseg I agree about the table backgrond colour of the "profile" "email" icons.

Wait just a cotton-picking moment here!

If you have plenty of time to change the general look of the site and all the colours etc., then surely you have plenty of time also to implement that "choose-colour-scheme" user option I mentioned a while back?

Just a thought.

Just because RCK has time to paint a wall in his house doesn't mean that he has time to invent a colour-changing paint!

Just a small nitpick

in the Announcements forum, the following description is written:

Important announcements from moderators. Members can only post reply here.

My english isn't that good, so maybe I'm wrong, but the way is written, it make it looks like members can't post replies in any other forums than that one

maybe "Only members can post replies here" would be better....

Like I said, just a small pick

Rolling On The Floor Laughing

it is not "Only members can post replies here" but "Members can not post new threads here"

I admit that "Members can only post reply here." was a bit strange for the other sections of the board

Fixed.
