I never thought of the possibility of the panel mount mini din, forgot all about that option, i think i chose this because i knew i had a lot of these type connectors left over from previous projects and had footprint etc. I also submitted the Raspberry Pi boards toom i made big changes similar to what Matze done as in the board being etched out to reduce height for application with the a500.

These should be ready in about 18 days. They are simple to build so if people want to buy as a kit i'll knock a few $$ off as it will help me. I won't know what the exact price is until i get the shipping/customs bill. Assume them to be about $23 - $26 as a kit and an extra $5 if you want it built. I think its a great price for the RGB video and PC keyboard functions alone.

I ordered 50 so add your name here if you want one. I have not mentioned this anywhere else. limit of 2 per person. (I can always order more if interest is still there

not sure, i think connectors would be tough to plug in

I have about 20 emails to send to people this weekend so progress is slow but i'm getting there. When i done this progject i never realised just how popular it would be so i didn't have funding to buy parts all at once so had to do it in stages
