Not sold!
I just cannot bering myself to list it for sale. I put so much time into this. It feels like such a let down not to get it fired up.
I do not have the programmed lattice chip. I have 3 blanks but no way to program them. I'd love to have someone post how to program these or maybe offer a programmed one for sale. The board is complete and this is the only thing I am missing. Thanks for checking with me. Any help would be appreciated! |

I don't have ispLSIs for sale but if you're willing to send the chips to me (I'm located in Finland), I'll program all three chips for you. Send me a PM if this sounds good.

I searched forever on how to program those too... the easiest way is to build a little adapter board, here's a good reference for the PLCC pins to connect: http://www.mqp.com/ad462.htm
I think you then just need a 5V-capable Lattice programmer, connect to those pins and program through ispLEVER (I say think, still waiting for mine to arrive; clone should do as long as 5V). Btw if you really want to know how to program them, grab a copy of the 1996 Lattice Data Book. It details the ispDOWNLOAD cable and the protocol for shifting data into the fuses (and of course the fuse map for the 1024) in the chapter ISP Architecture and Programming. I cobbled some Python together to do this from a Pi through level shifters, worked very well as my 2nd hand parts were clearly "used" when I read them (except my GBA still needs diagnosing, dodgy Agnus and/or GALs I think). |
