Can't rip the ROM!! Heeeeeeeeelllllllllpppppp
Im trying to rip the ROM off my A1200 with TRANSROM but whenever i run transrom with the command line to copy the image to ROM all that happens is the Shell window fills up with gobbledegook and the screen flashes. It never stops doing that. Ive left it for half an hour and came back-it was still doing the same thing. Can anybody help?
Help much appreciated, Matt |

Duh, you have to redirect its output to a file (and it shouldnt be taking 30 minutes anyway, I imaged the KS2.05 ROM of my A600 in two seconds)
This is what you have to do: transrom >ram:kick.rom replace the path and filename there for whatever filename and path you want. You should have read the docs :P (btw you can cancel the procedure with a break command, Ctrl+C if i remember correctly) |
