Fairlight Logo
Hi
I am using the E-UAE and Hi-Toro on a Mac. I've downloaded a few games without any problems, but I have downloaded the Dizzy Collection can't seem to get past the Fairlight Logo page. I've clicked the mouse buttons, tried the keyboard but nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks |

You might need to press a Joystick button, if you don't have a Joystick you can map a key, I'm not sure what the defaults are though.

EUAE default joystick keys on a Mac are 2,4,6,8 on the numeric pad and 0 is fire. Try that first

I am using my laptop, so my keyboard doesn't have a numeric pad. I've tried pressing all the key but nothing happens and it's still just the fairlight logo. I do not have a joystick.
I have other games such as Treasure Island Dizzy that I have had no problems with |

Where did you download the Fairlight crack from?
I can find the Skidrow crack and that works by pressing the LMB. |

I don't have a Fairlight crack. I have a E-UAE emulator used in conjunction with Hi Torro. The files were downloaded from Emuparadise

Seems an Mac emulation problem then. I have no problem (mouse left click) to pass the Fairlight intro in WinUAE. Both games work as it seems. If your PC isn't too old you should try the Mac version of FS-UAE.

http://fs-uae.net/getting-started
http://fs-uae.net/launcher FS-UAE needs a bit of reading. Then it's pretty easy to use. |

You probably need the rom.key because the AF Kickstarts are encrypted. Copy the file (search on the DVD for it) into your FS-UAE kickstarts folder and scan again.

I just checked the AF2012 DVD and the rom.key is at....D:\Amiga Files\Shared\rom as Retro said.
Have you extracted and burnt the DVD or are you using the .msi? |
