The game for it's time offered free-roaming environments, clever reactive AI, great voice acting, over 20hrs of gameplay and much more, it was simply stunning and still loved to this day. Fast forward to today and Fresh3D Inc hopes through Kickstarter funding to overhaul the graphics and new game play and releasing it as Outcast Reboot HD. Finally gamers, Outcast is back and better than ever!

OMFG!! I absolutely played that game to death, loved it! Bought the GOG version just to play it again

Hope they keep to the original script!

This game always reminded me Another World. So it's a special place in my heart and it's nice to see Franck Sauer working again. I hope they reach at least 950k stretch goal. But it seems to me the kickstarter page needs more work.

I wish to see more gameplay rather than talking and brainstorming. Also, paying $200 to get a physical art book is a little bit unfair. It is more important for me rather than the statuette of the protagonist or the exclusive t-shirt.

Who's going to pledge $10,000 or more? Sounds like they're following an overhyped farty space game that's being kickstarted, hope they don't rip you off with 'digital add-ons' that cost a fortune as well!

I'm also a big fan of this game, but I wonder what will happen now to the fan-made (in progress) sequel at openoutcast.org.

I picked up this game many many years ago, still sealed. Could not understand why it was never opened. Thinking about it, I had an Amd K62-450 with a Voodoo 3000 Agp card. Time has really flown lol.

So I am glad somebody is rebooting it!

Brilliant game with a brilliant soundtrack
