Req. Lha compression tool for PC

hi

i need a way of packing files into a LHA, so i can transfer to Real Amiga

freeware... would be great

This is the Windows version of LhA:
http://aminet.net/package/util/arc/lhant
Extract it with WinRAR.

I think the only GUI you can use is perhaps a bolt-on one such as Total Commander (but I don't use it).

But you can use almost any compressor you like on the PC cos you can find almost any type of de-compressor for Amiga on aminet.

indeed unraring isnt a problem... i did find a LHA archiver with GUI.. but shareware and it nags

A quick google returned Zip Kingdom. A Freeware archiver with GUI which packs LHA, among others.

do your self a favour Djay and get total commander then the amiga specific plugins, adf,dms,lha ext
you can then use total commander as a frontend to your packer of choice, lha, I use it for 7z + a hell of a lot of other things

With winzip u can create LHA-archives

PowerArchiver can also create and unarchive LHA files. I use it and thing it's very good.
