Sound mixer for the Amiga 1200T and Ubuntu machine (both rigged via KVM, now only using 1 set of speakers without impedance issues).

I've heard some people are hacking CPC games to work on the GX4000 without a keyboard so that should widen your horizons.

Shame you couldn't get a review sample of the C4CPC. A bit shortsighted of the manufacturers if you ask me.

This month's Press Play on Tape podcast is all about the Amstrad btw. Google that and 'Sugar Daddy'.

Another joystick will join my collection. It's not really one of the joysticks I was looking for, but I've heard/read just good reviews about this little beauty by Wico. Is there another owner here? It seems to be pretty rare (at least in central europe).

Picked up this odd joystick on eBay. Normally I restrict myself to cheetah mach I s as they are my favourites, but this one is intriguing. A dial to make the joystick looser or tighter, and also to change the functions of the fire buttons. Wow.

Gravis Joysticks were huge here in Aus, I had one of their analogue FlightSticks for my PC - they weren't cheap but the quality was miles above the crappy quickshot's!

I haven't ever seen one of these before, and was looking simply for some joysticks to complete a c64 setup i want to give to a mate for his 40th. I think however that I will keep hold of this one. In good condition, boxed and with instruction leaflet it was only £8 delivered.

Good call, Gravis stuff was great back in the day (Canadian company iirc), their UltraSound audio card for PC's was miles better than the SandBlaster range too!

This is the Gravis Stick I had, I only threw it out recently as it would no longer stay centered:

Sony CDP-X505ES

From the era Sony completely over-engineered and truly did 'high-end' stuff.
