Looking for a Radeon 9250 or 9200 128mb PCI card for my mediator setup.

Thank you!

it's worth noting that the 9250 with 128MB is 'only' 64bit, you need a 256MB board to have 128bit. This probably makes little real difference in an amiga realistically, except in a few niche circumstances.

Hmm I don't see any 256MB model on the Mediator supported list. What model would work?

Thank you
Nuno

I couldnt say really, I dont use the elbox radeon driver, so I dont know if that works correctly with 256MB models

If I were buying then I'd get either the 9200 128MB or 9250 256MB boards that look like this:

Out of a matter of interest. Are you planning to use Warp3D on OS 3x? If so you need a Voodoo 3/4 or 5 card for that

I don't use Warp3D. I will be keeping OS3.2.

In case sittingduck can't find his, I also have one, a 128mb 9250.

Wasn't there some sort of issue with voltages, some cards require one voltage and some cards another, and the mediator can only use one type of card?

older mediators need 5v cards. newer ones have a vrm so can handle 3.3v cards. or you can wire 3.3v to the pci slots.

Thank you for the info. I got a new one from Amigastore.eu so should be covered?

Hello @trixster - do you happen to know if the Radeon 92xx are supported via other PCI solutions than Mediator? There's alot of conflicting information. For example, with the Firebird AA3000+ daughter-card and its PCI slots, I'd prefer to use an ATI Radeon 92xx card than a voodoo 3 3000 pci (which tend to be expensive)

thank you!

It will work with a firestorm Prometheus but only with ‘special’ drivers, and before you ask, no I don’t have them.
