Dragon Wars - how to save game?

The S key (for Save) and Q key (for Quit) don't seem to do anything!

I have version 1.2.

I also have the IBM version, it works fine.

So how do I save the game in the Amiga version!? How bizarre!

Many of the keys need to be pressed in conjunction with the amiga key.
