USB to serial adapters with wacom tablet on A1200

Hey all, I would like to know if a USB to serial adapter would work to connect a Wacom IV tablet.
Drivers let you pick a device (I'm successfully using tablets with my Hypercom clockport card)
But I'm getting a warp1260 and it would be great if I could plug a tablet on one of the usb ports
The reason is just to not have to unplug the MIDI interface every time
Merry Christmas!

According to the documentation it only supports massstorage and HID devices, no serial adapters.
