I'm getting a bit of practise in for this as I have never played it before. I am having two problems though.

1 - When I enter the first bonus level by collecting the angel after killing the first boss I get a Guru error (using an IPF from gametronic)

2 - I can't work out how to turn on autofire in Winuae. I am using Keyboard config b (cursors and right control for fire). Is it possible to turn on?

0. You know the round is over right?

1. Wrong config? "Not enough info error"
2. Go to the input panel, scroll down to 'RCONTROL' and click on 'Autofire|No' to change it to 'Yes'.

0. Yes but we will be playing it in the knockout compo and I badly need the practise!
1. Fair enough, I wondered if this was a known error. I've just switched to ecs13 and got it working.
2. I've tried that. I can get it to shoot 2-3 times a second by holding down ctrl but that seems too slow. I assume it has something to do with the autofire rate setting which is set to 10, but it is ghosted and I can't change it unless I change the drop down from compatibility mode to configuration #1. If I do that none of the keyboard controls work.

2. I take it you're not using 2.3.0 then? If you use an older version (don't recall with which version this was changed), you would have to manually assign the buttons for the emulated joystick directions and button(s).

Still on 1.5.2!

I had more problems with ecs13 but I found the solution
