I could do it... I have all the parts and stuff... trouble is I'm too much of a wuss to take a dremel to my A1200's case! :eek

That CD1300 amiga! it aint amazing, granted it looks good but it aint nothing to sit in awe at!
The things ive seen done with pc hardware make that amiga look like nothing more than what it really is! a case painted black with a laptop drive stuck in it! its easy to do the weblink: http://gutjahr.free.fr/hardware/cd1200.html shows how. the plans if I remember rightly for the A1300 were locked up in Fort Knox does it make it worth more? not too me as i wouldnt buy it personally! i would build my own instead! just about to visit a few local pc shops to see what laptop drives they have. @rattus - Go for it! dont be a wuss and show us your modding skills |

I would never hack up my a1200 case since they are hard to find in the us if you screw it up.
