I must admit I felt the game was a little too slow on previous videos, even though still very nice.
Seeing the game running on real hardware on that video killed completely this feeling. It really seems to be shaping up to be an awesome game. Very beautiful to look at, very smooth and slick and with a good dose of action. Music is awesome too. Not slow at all

Is there a purpose for the roof - mounted gun? For me it would make aiming a bit difficult I think, I would prefer shooting from the vertical centre of the ship sprite, not from its top.
Beside this, it looks really great. AmigaBill will absolute love it, it is his genre
