Kaiser DE .uae for retropie - WHDLoad

Hello,

is here anyone that can make a .uae File for Kaiser (DE)?
It is for WHD-Load for retropie.

And I have a question to this site:

What means HOL, SPS and WHD for this categorys? Different versions for different Emulators?

Are you asking for someone to make a .HDF for "Kaiser (DE)" that can be used in RetroPie?

Thank you for your very friendly reception.

I'm asking for a .uae-config File that i can add to the retropie that it will start out of the GUI of Amiga on the Retropie like, in combination with the hdf file would be great. :_D

It's an .LHA file and contain the WHDLoad slave and installed files.

I'll make you a self-booting / bare-bones .HDF tonight

As for the configuration file i.e. .UAE, I've never used RetroPie but am sure I can figure out the required format.

which emulator and what version are you running on your pi? Different versions makes a big difference believe it or not

Im in the process of sorting out 9,500 retropie uae's for amiberry v2.14

Here are 2 UAE's configured WHDLoad & HDF ofr Kaiser (De) for Amiberry v2.14 for RetroPie working perfectly.

Simply place UAE's in you pi folder here
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga

And place HDF in you pi folder here
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/Games_HDF

And place WHDLoad game folder in you pi here
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad

Reboot Emulation Station. And you will be able to see the game entry in Emulation Station and launch it.

Both work for me. What exactly happens for the whdload version not to work? Maybe try re adding the kickstart rom yourself and rebooting the game..

The kickstarts were integrated by the automatic whd script and other games work properly. I will describe it this evening, because I'm on the road today.

You should get an error message from WHDLoad if there are any files missing/incorrect. Which error message is shown once you try to run the Kaiser patch?

Did you try my whdload game files and config uae for the whdload version?

If it fails it may be because you might be on an earlier version of Amiberry. Edit the uae file with notepad and make sure your paths are correct in it.

I updated my amiberry to 2.14 (think, it was the newest, but i clicked on update by source).

Then I started Kaiser again and thought to take more time for loading.
The paths were right, I think.

And then there was the Errormessage:

"WHDLoad Update Message
KaiserDe.Slave not found on master WHDLoad page list.
UAE Config maker could not verify slave updates."

After your update to 2.14

Delete your Kaiserde game folder and uae file. And then use my game folder and uae file
Restart emulation station and boot it.

Do any other WHDLoad games work for you beside Kaiser?

If not then it seems you might be missing WHDLoad AutoBoot Program which can be found here..

The Game Launcher (Essential): WHDLoad AutoBoot Program

This is the Bootloader to that can launch WHDLoad games. The reason why Kaiser HDF works is that because HDF's can autoboot on a Amiga600/1200 without the Bootloader.
