I have dumps of my MI2 original disks (in english language ; I also have the game in french if someone is interested).

I can either :
- upload each disk to the zone (11 of them)
- upload the first disk only, you should be able to use disks 2-11 from the TOSEC version as there's no reason that they've been modified (only disk 1 is cracked to remove protection)

You'll then be able to install the game yourself.

You misread me, I dont have Simon (neither ecs or aga), only Monkey Island 2.

Disk 1 has been uploaded to the zone.

Problems with Simon the Sorcerer ? The game works fine for me, but it's true I don't use a whdload version (only a HDF with WinUAE).

for fuzzball
use disk2fdi to transfer them in your pc
you'll need 2 floppy drives and win 98 (or 95) cause it wont work in winXP or 2000 or NT....http://www.oldskool.org/disk2fdi

That's all

2 things that 99% of people don't have/use which makes disk2fdi pretty much useless for most people.

You dont need an amiga floppy drive
Only two pc drives (the disk2fdi runs on a pc).... Check the program's documentation

I repeat my primary request: Can someone upload the whd version of Simon the sorcerer AGA??? (or at least the first original disk????)

For MI2, i.e., the whdload slave :
- "degrades" the chipset to ocs, so the game graphics are not garbage if you run it on anything more recent than an A500
- removes the protection, which is quite handy
- allows to quit back to Workbench in a simple way

A lot of hd-installable games are not useable on A1200s or such, because they were written for an Amiga with 68000 cpu and ocs/ecs chipset, so a whdload install is always a good thing

hmm i agree this whdload is a great thing in fact one of the coolest things i seen on an amiga getting all them older games to run with no hassles.
