is it too late to buy this new book? i can pay tomorrow! as i thought the 1st edition was awesome! i still got mine! bought off ebay for like £11 a couple of years back!

Got my copy of the new book this morning. Great speedy service from amigakit.com as usual.
The new edition no longer contains the Amiga portion of Commodore's history. Instead there's apparently going to be a follow up volume called Commodore: The Amiga Years scheduled for release in 2012. |

So who has (and read
) this book?It is a pure marvel, I read it in 2 days during my waiting during some flights in the airport lounges or on the plane, it was sooo addictive and interesting. Esp as I lived through the C64 era and then the Amiga one, I think this is a terrific tale on what happened at Commodore since the 70s. The good, the bad, the luck, the fighting, the talent... and do not be scared of F-words, quotes are not censored! I REALLY recommend to anyone interested in Commodore, esp for its price. And the last page was a nice surprise, announcing "Commodore - A Company On The Edge - The Amiga Years - coming in 2012". Can't wait to keep reading the rest. |
