Change music in .mod files

Hello

Im very big fan of Amiga Demoscene, but mostly im very enjoy music made in amiga computers.

So i got question for you, How i can change music in one module tracker file?
Ive managed download Slam Tlit game music pack. But some module tracker files had multi tunes tracks in one file but i dont how to switch.

I tried use BZR Player but plays only first music while rest are ommited. While Jetaudio plays them in order but tunes cannot be changed.

Go find Protracker, where you can actually edit and interrogate the mod files at their composed level.

Subsongs in modules are of course possible, but most playroutines won't natively know where to find them. Usually the coder of the demo/game has to specifically tell the playroutine "start playing from pattern 23", and it will play from there and the module will have the correct songdata to tell it when to loop back to pattern 23 to restart that subsong.

XMPlay (PC), Deliplayer (Amiga/PC) and Eagleplayer (Amiga) should all deal properly with subsongs.

I am not familiar with BZRPlayer but I am pretty sure it can play subsong data as well. Maybe ask in the BZR thread?: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=35976

A fast way should be: make backup copy of the original files, load the mod files in protracker* and look for all the Bxx command instances pattern for pattern; usually those songs have a main loop and all subsongs that point back to the main loop. You could remove all bxx commands and make it become a single song.

* this actually given you know how to navigate/edit a song in protracker or milkytracker of course

In XMPlay you can change subsongs using "SHIFT" + "->" or "SHIFT" + "<-"

Subsongs are actually more present in Exotic formats

It's your first post, so, welcome to the forum

I have no issues changing sub songs in BZR Player from the Slam Tilt pack here https://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Slam_Tilt
