Never thought I'd say it, but I'd be dammed!...they actually came through on there word..wow, codetapper , looks like you'll have retract your previous statements on this now lol, well afew of them at least , this is big event for a game to be actually finished and then released into the community, you can't say fairer than that now can you?
But alas they is a bigger picture here...I'll wait until they catch up with the times and release this and any other of their games on iOS or Android, I don't own a PS3 or Vita..but kudos to them for proving us wrong, they must of been telling the truth all along |

"The download license allows you to play and distribute Putty Squad, as long as it remains free and unaltered." "The download license for these files allow you to play and distribute Putty Squad, as long as it remains free and unaltered." I'm getting conflicting messages here. Not that I care... I gots my copy already. |

Presumably they want to gauge interest in the game / Amiga by the number of downloads from their site?

Now they need to see about doing a manufactured disk release. Box & manual is probably asking too much.

Until otherwise stated, CiA will continue to supply a link to System 3 for our continued support. |

Wow. Just woke up to this news on Christmas morning. What a fantastic Christmas present! Thanks to everyone involved in making this release a reality. All the more poingnent for me as it's 20 years today since I received my very first Amiga.

No offence but the personal happiness to see it released is nullified by the displeasure of years of secrecy and promises from both developers and community users (imho, I haven't seen the needs to keep it until xmas). So I don't even check the download site.
Happy to see people sastified, however. Maybe I just don't like these kind of surprises. Last edited by Dokugogagoji; 25 December 2013 at 11:28. Reason: removed the potential offence |

However, I'm not happy with these kinds of secrecy the release has gone. Just that. Pardon me. I refrain myself to post again in this and related threads. |

Leave it at that, guys. It's great news. I understand Dokugogagoji's feelings. It's been 20 years after all, and probably some Amiga users that would have really loved to play it, might now be... dead.
However, it's out today (thanks to System 3 and to the valid efforts of some EAB members, too), it's free, and the past is the past. Let the game begin and be thankful that the Amiga still inspires us, with such high-profile releases. It's been a great year and the next will be even better. |
