Lotus 2 was always my fav...played it more than any other racer. Actually, I played Stunt Car Racer more, but as much as I love that game, Lotus 2 was slicker. I had high hopes for Jaguar when it came out, but after I got it there was something about it that I can't put my finger on...it was rather just there. I'm amazed it has so many votes, really. Everything is all shiny and slick before you actually race, but the meat and potatoes of the game was just uninspired and samey. Notable mentions: Micro Racers and Skidmarks, but those go without saying.

Lotus 1 is my fav: a tons of tracks, cool graphics, nice sound, the best rendition of a road i've ever seen and a great gameplay.
it's also my first game on amiga, december 1991, along with xenon 2

Heh, my exposure to Amiga driving games is a bit limited, but Stunt Car Racer is it for me (Both Amiga and C64 versions).

Where's Domark's F1 then? It's Vroom with 2 players option. It's great

Yep. Vroom and Vroom 2 (Domark F1) are still two grear racing game. No music ingame and poor graphics, but damn fast!

Super Cars the original for me. This is a great fun racing game.

Oh and if you are under the bonnet type of person then you cant go past Street Rod 1 and 2. I luv the feel of that game, going thru the papers for cars/parts, building it all up and letting her rip great stuff

The AGA version looked superb

Oh and Roadkill, it really builds the atmosphere with the music.

My vote will be for iether Lotus 2 or Supercars 2 (Magnetic Fields eh!)

and by the way on winuae (i play it whdloaded) is unplayable due to the screen refresh...

real 3D - Stunt Car Racer
fake 3D - Lotus 2
non 3D - ATR

although i could also go for nitro and supercars 2...

I didnt read the poll properly I just selected the first racing game that came to mind that I enjoyed (Well it was out of 2) now I wish I could vote for Nitro, I still play it today!

I voted for ATR, but only because Test Drive 2: The Duel wasn't up there. I remember TD was the first game on the Amiga that really made me say, "WOW!".
