Thanks for replying man, but that link isn't for the SNES game, it's for some Windows variant (at least that's what it says at first), then instructs you to download & to run an .exe installer & also I'm not willing to download the file. It bumps from site to site, each one with a "download now" button...

Cool, file looks good...time to play! PZ. *EDIT* - Just gave the first level a shot & this is a cool, but very hard game! Pretty stupid they canned this one. I know a few people who would've played it to death! Last edited by Fingerlickin_B; 23 January 2012 at 15:54. |

Super Fighter Team, the publishers of Sango Fighter (a fighting game for the PC that they wanted to release for the Amiga too, but no ASM coders could be found or offered to help) and Zaku for the Atari Lynx, are going to be finishing and releasing Nightmare Busters boxed on brand new SNES cartridges and printed manuals!

$60... ouch. At that price they will just force people to download the rom
here's a link to the longplay video. http://www.theisozone.com/downloads/...rs-unreleased/ Quote:

75$ incl. shipping. You really have to be a big SNES homebrew fan to pay such a price. I know it's not cheap to build those cartridges nowadays, but please give me an option to download just the rom for a reasonable price. My girlfriend would probably kill me, if I tell her I'm paying that much money for an indie game.

I kinda like the idea, but I'm not sure that I agree with the pricing. It's not insanily overpriced for a real cartridge, booklet and box though. I'm pretty sure everybody that wanted to already downloaded the rom (), so I guess only the ones that really would like to have for their real SNES will buy it. Actually I think they could have gone higher if they wanted to, so 60 $ sounds not too bad to me.

I'm not so sure about that. There's still a (very small) commercial market for the C64. You can buy the games with a lot of extras for a few [insert currency of your choice] and you can also download a .d64 file for even less money. Ok, a 5 1/4 inch disk is probably not as pricey as a SNES cartridge, but there should be an option to buy the rom. I guess there are a lot of people using emulators, who are willing to pay for a game. Give them a chance to do so.

I bet they could have made it 40 or something, but 60 isn't really pushing it. I'm not sure why they don't offer a digital version, but I just guess they know most people won't bother anyway since it's all over the internet and very easy to find.
