Hi ImmortalA1000 and welcome to EAB
Since there are really many files in that folder your browser times out before it's fully loaded. So just for you I've put the PDF file in the root folder The other solution would be to use a FTP client

Have deleted the AUI disks from coverdisks/AUI.

All the AUI disks i have now placed in my own folder exoticaga.

They are imaged with disksqueeze (.dsq) and diskspare (-ds0.dsq) other releated files are in the same folder.

How about the ftp has another folder called Magazines. Then have sub folders, name of each amiga magazine and the contents of disks, cds, page scans and covers taking seperate sub folders.

This would make it a lot quicker to find a certain disk (in magazine floppy folder). Or a cd (in magazine cd folder) etc.

Maybe TCD could look into it, may need to inform user folder uploaders of the move. Then what to do with double files, find the ones that are better to keep! This won't gain much ftp space, but will make for finding magazine things quickly and easily.

Will think about it I'm quite knocked out by my cold today, so I won't start it today (or tomorrow I think...). So if anyone else is willing to do it, I won't mind

Hey there, FTPers, I've decided to establish a little corner of my own on the FTP. You can find my stuff at /User/madcrow

First up is a fully working set of DMS images of Final Writer 5. As the 5.03 set in TOSEC seems to be borked and nobody seems to have ever put up a proper distro of FW97, I figured this would be a nice contribution to start with. Enjoy and happy typing.

Also, one question. Would it be OK for me to put up an ASCII art "welcome.txt" file in my folder?

Hello friends,

Just remember that, please do not upload any of APC&TCP Software, IPF Images, KickStart Roms, Workbench Disks and other copyrighted software to the server.

Thank you for your support.

Cheers,
Magix

New folder called Coverdisks on the server with subfolders for the magazine names. Inside them you will find coverdisks for each magazine. I still miss some. Any fills?

Thats great news ma about time we had a dedicated floppy coverdisks folder. Maybe someone now can permantly move all coversdisks from all folders into to their. Soon we will have them all for everyone, with magazines scans et all.

I've just deleted a load of keyfiles (including MUI and WHDLoad) from the FTP that you uploaded.

Once again guys, DO NOT UPLOAD FILES THAT ARE STILL SOLD AND/OR SUPPORTED.

I will go through the FTP at some point soon when I have time to see if there's still any other dodgy stuff hanging around.

I am seriously thinking of handing out temporary bans on EAB for people who knowingly upload these files and will not delete them as the FTP is not meant to be abused in this way.

I saw the lot of 'serials' and stuff last night, but since I have no clue what's okay and what's not, I didn't delete the stuff right away. Would be nice to have a 'whitelist' of apps that aren't sold anymore and for which no keyfiles can be optained anymore, so these things can be removed really quick. For the meantime, all suspicious files will be deleted and a GM here notified. So please think about what you upload guys.

Question regarding serials: is the serial number needed to activate the CUCD edition of Cinema 4D allowed?

Well if it was in the magazine and if the software isn't being sold anymore then I do not see the problem with that. However I'm not always sure of what is being sold and what isn't so I'm sure if there is a problem someone will pipe up.

(Also I've just deleted some APC & TCP stuff off the FTP. Please can we stop this stuff being uploaded now, whoever is doing it.)
