Optic mouse on A1200

If I buy a PS/2 to serial adapter would I then be able to use an optic mouse on my A1200? My most concern is if there is steam enough to power the optic.

Best regards

Volt.

I would recommend a PS/2 to mouseconnector-adapter instead. Not all mouses work with it, but the first version of MS Explorer mouse does (which is an optical mouse).

amigakit.com sell these adapters for their amiga brand optical mice. Although that's no indication it'll work with other mice, but it does with their own brand.

Cocolino works with mice supporting the PS/2 protocol.

I have used it with my Logitech optical mouse and various other optical brands.
