Hi from Devon!

Hi all,

I’ve been wanting to re-live those happy days (...well years actually) fiddling about on my favourite computer, the Amiga 4000. Thanks to WinUAE and the group of dedicated enthusiasts, I can ( ). It’ll be interesting to find out how much I remember and sadly, how much I’ve forgotten...

Welcome to EAB mate!

Do you still have the A4000? Sadly I chucked mine in the 90s and regretted it ever since. Ended up spending a small fortune buying another one 20 years later...

Sadly no. It was damaged by an electricity burst through the house some years ago. However, I do have an A500 in the loft, but I have no room to set it up. One day it will be resurrected. In the mean time, WinUAE it is.

@UlyssesWolf Ahh so you choose the A4000 over the A3000

I am also in your club. Threw away my a4000/040 in the early 00's. Still haven't been brave enough to buy another. Have an A1200 and WinUAE which is good enough.
