Ok, time for a few more N64 hits worth mentioning : Killer Instinct Gold, Forsaken, San Francisco Rush 2049, Spider-Man, Nightmare Creatures, Sin & Punishment

Don't forget the obvious ones: Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Zelda: Majora's Mask, both works of art in their own right. WipeOut 64 is also pretty good as a take on WipeOut 2097. GoldenEye and Perfect Dark are still excellent if, like all N64 games, they're forgiven for their old-fashioned control system. Starfox 64 / Lylat Wars is very good too, and Paper Mario, Donkey Kong 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Conker's Bad Fur Day are all worth a look too.

Way overpriced and out of my range... for that price I rather get FPGA.

I've seen Mario Party games, but still wondering if that is really worth fortune.... They must either be too popular or extremely rare...

Only reason I never finished any of the games you mentioned - either I loose interest early in game, or just some other shinny object around shows up...

Again, it is not a problem of not knowing how to, or fact that I did not try it, it is just that there were better things to play... Since I made computer back in December, I did not play much of emulation. There are 3-4 arcade games set in Launchbox (Galaga, Galaxian, Phoenix and Scramble) and that is about it.

They are, which is why I got the 3DS versions I played these games emulated with the keyboard back in the day... Yay for having to change the emulated joystick dead zone on the fly to simulate walking really slow.

Yes, I have one of these too and it's excellent. Also works on Linux and even under OS4, and it's compatible with the official one so it works on the Wii U and Switch for using GC controllers in Super smash Bros (in fact, the Switch lets you use it in pretty much any game). So that's 4 generations of consoles I've been using the same controllers on - not bad!

Ridge Racer 64 has different feel from PS1 iterations, more arcadey.

They're priced with big N fanboys in mind who enjoy that kind of brawler game to the point they will come to the store with their poppa and moma so glad their little angel doesn't ask for Call Of Duty #34 or GTA #57 this time around. Obviously you don't belong there, so why bother .

"brawler game" ? I have the idea that Mario Party is being mixed up with Super Smash Brothers here.

Mamma mia, thanks for the clarification! Party, brawler, melee, ware, as in Wario Ware Inc. not my kind of games anyway.

Why settle for second best?

Really??

Even all hardware I own I still emulate - why have zillion wires everywhere with bunch of screens...etc? Nice clean table, and still able to play all games on systems I own - WIN.

Back on topic . Since I have been experimenting with homebrew on the Gamecube as of late, I could manage to emulate NES, SNES, Neo Geo CD (makes use of mp3 tracks, not redbook audio, a minor annoyance), MegaDrive & Mega CD, PC Engine. SMS works fine, but except for Alex Kidd, I lost interest. Neo Geo emulator and MAME do work on the Wii, but not on the Gamecube. Well, one can play a few early 80s MAME games on the Cube through some tinkering, but it's rather limited in scope. Definitely more up to date emulators than what I used to deal with on the PS2.

Scrolling is nowhere near Amiga, as well it does not sounds as good as Amiga.

Saint used to be cool emulator back in Win98 days... I loved interface.

Sounds and graphics seem decent to me

I'm not doing a comparison with Amiga

I have no technical skills to say that ATARI ST is inferior to the Commodore machine

I leave to other people this kind of war

I simply report what i see and hear with the ATARI ST emulator

Summarizing, i like it too

You might be interested in this thread about ST exclusive games:

Also, some games have differences with the Amiga version, to varying degrees. For instance, I remember that Nitro on the ST has pedestrians and traffic (other cars, besides the competitors, that can hinder you.
