Changing volume icon in ClassicWB GAAE/2.1

Hiya,

Running ClassicWB GAAE/2.1 and have a partition named "Games" that I'd like to change the icon of. I've read up that for volumes you need to copy a "disk.icon" into the root of that volume but I haven't had any luck with this.

Is anyone able to help provide the steps from running IconEdit, to saving the file, to where I save it to?!?

Cheers,

Tom

It's disk.info, not disk.icon. In IconEdit you omit the .info extension and only use disk.

In IconEdit select "project / open" from the menu, then load the icon you want to use. Select "Type / Disk" from the menu. Now select "project / save as" from the menu, navigate to the disk you want to save the icon to and give it a name of "disk" (without quotes of course).

Nailed it - thanks man. I was saving it to disk.info, sorry, my bad in the first post... but I was adding the .info. As soon as I saved it as just "disk" - blammo!

Thanks mate.
