Disney + Streaming Services

Well, this week Disney started its streaming service. It includes Disney + Marvel + Star Wars + National Geographic movies and series and at the moment it is only place you can see new Star Wars series - Mandorian.

Disney + cost is 6.99, which is far less than Netflix plan.

For 12.99 you can bundle it with HULU (with adds) and ESPN+. In first 2 days service already passed over 10 million subscribers.

What are you thoughts? Anyone already got it?

So is this a STREAMING service only ?!?"

If so then I see Comcast throttling the service because they can and will attempt to extort money out of Disney.

It's so bad that so many companies resort to these kinds of tactics

Yes, Disney + is only streaming service and it is possible that ISP might decide to extort money for unthrottled service. So far, it works just as expected, picture quality is good and no issues watching content.

Mandalorian is nice SW series, following Mandalorian bounty hunter and job to get 50 year old baby.

I did not try yet 4K, but I am sure it should work without issues.

Glad to hear that, my guess is that until the service gets to a certain size that most/all ISP's will ignore it.

Same happened with Netflix.

Speak for yourself, it was available to me a month ago

At least it's quite cheap. And pretty soon Disney will own everything that has moving pictures in them.

Is that for 4K ?!? Apparently on torrentfreak.com they are reporting that it's betting shared a bit on the torrents. Could be the new game of thrones?

Yes, Dianey+ at the moment is 4K up to 4 devices at the same time with option to download content on devices.
