What is TOSEC the
collections Amiga Games with
bad checksum errors???

I don't really understand what you're saying Stl75; TOSEC is just a collection of games with bad checksum errors?

In TOSEC files that are bad are marked with the [b] flag e.g:

Bad Dump - [b]

The image is damaged. This is a general 'damaged/bad' flag, to be used when the type of damage does not fit into any of the other 'damaged' categories. It is likely this image will not work properly, or not at all.

The variants are:

[B] - Bad dump (incorrect data dumped)
[b Descriptor] - Bad dump (including reason)

TOSEC collects all different images of games / demos that get submitted from various sources.

Yes, some are bad but you don't know this when they are first submitted.

...but by having them there they can be used as reference, compared to what you have and then avoided.
