Help from any USA members please:

Hi
I'm in the very early stages of 'designing' a (hopefully) universal retro-keyboard -> USB/PS2 interface board...
...the most obvious application is you take the retro-box of your choice, gut it, add a PC mobo, program my proposed interface to allow said retro-keyboard to work as a USB/PS2 one and you're done!
Hacking a modern keyboard for it's encoder chip, sussing out said chip, doing the same with the retro-keyboard, then getting the two to work together isn't funny - I've done that.

I've got the plan, I know what components I need. My problem is a chip central to this plan is made by Sprintek, based in the USA...
...having been in touch with them they've been very helpful and will sell v. low volumes to private customers, but:
-Their postage to the UK is $89.00!!! (in addition to the cost of three chips!)
Too expensive, project dead in the water...

It seems to be free delivery within the US, so if any US-based member could arrange MUCH cheaper postage to the UK from their end and order the chips for me I'd be most grateful.
(I'd, of course, pony up the dough in advance)

Thank You!
