USBCell?

http://usbcell.com/

anyone used these for any of their handheld/wireless devices?

They seem like quite a nice little idea, but how well they work I don't know!

I love the idea in principle, but at only 1300 mAh I won't be buying any. You can now get 2700 mAh ones and even they can drain very quickly after a few recharges.

Those slow drain Eneloop ones by Sanyo look promising. They claim to be able to hold 90% of their charge for up to 6 months.

Yeah - I remember reading a review of them somewhere and the poor amperage (did I spell that right?) was the biggest problem. Can't be helped if you're trying to fit a USB connection into the dimensions of an AA battery
