QuickJoy5, QuickJoy6 and Tomahawk unboxing

Hi guys,
I've had these boxed joysticks lying around for years, so I thought I'd put an unboxing video for each one on YT, before entropy takes its toll on them.

Here's an unused Quickjoy V Superboard:

The SV-125 was the first one I bought for my Amiga but it wasn't long until I had to start repairing its microswitches (or trying to).

Then there's the Quickjoy VI Jetfighter SV-126:

Didn't buy this one back in the day, but I got the one shown from a computer store's old stock, 10 years ago.

And finally, my personal favourite, the Tomahawk:

It's been my main joystick since 93, but it still looks and most importantly, handles like new. They really are built to last. The box has seen better days, but it's a miracle I still have it.

Anyway, I hope you like them... if you're into watching these kind of things that is.

OMG thanks for the upload.

Added to my watch later list so I can watch them on my TV at home.

I had the Superboard andf the Jetfighter.

I loved the base of the superboard but loved the stick on the Jetfighter.

.....guess what I ended up doing lol.

These 2 are on my "Re-buy" list for sure. These and the zipstick were my favorite joysticks for Amiga.

hehe i did indeed. The swap was fairly easy even for a teenager. Everything on the base worked, but from memory I think the auto fire switch on the stick did not. Could have worked out how to fix it but meh, there was a switch on the base so it didn't bother me.

I'd never butcher them like that again though lol.

actually.....if i find a couple of extra ones that have already had a hard life, yes...yes I would lol. And then this time fix the auto switch issue, and paint them both to match

Uh oh....I see another ebay trip coming on haha.
