Nice work ross

You always come up with the goods my friend

...it doesn't matter how long it takes though; I know you are very busy with many other Amiga projects; and that's besides real life.

To be honest, I would also like a proper cracked / trained 4 disk version of this game as the 5 disk one is an absolute nightmare in disk swapping etc. and not very logical.

Luckily I only emulate these days so have resorted to using the .IPFs but I'm sure all real / emulating Amiga users will very much appreciate a definitive 4 disk cracked / trained set

Finally, you've also fixed the original in terms of the intro music tempo; when no one even noticed the problem, as that's how it's always been

It is pure coincidence, that 2 artists of this game are named "Ross" too!?

Does it need to be a 4 disk version?

Because I remember that I had a 5 disk crack by Skid Row, which had a trainer. And I think I used the trainer to train level 1, but later finished the whole game without trainers, when I discovered there is a save game feature, which I did not know for a long time

I am not sure, but I also think there exists another 5 disks crack by Skid Row without the trainer?!
If needed, I can ADF my version (I think I still have it on disks)

As far as I remember the 5 disk version is horrible and the disk swapping is not very logical i.e. when you see the coloured screen you need to insert some previous disk or something weird.

There are loads of threads about this on EAB e.g. Help getting Wrath of the Demon working

Also, here's one of your old posts from 2002 regarding this:

I played the whole Skid Row version and I think it has 5 disks, which I think were cracked from 4 original.
So, on a real Amiga you will sometimes notices that the drive continues to make the same clicking noise over and over again. ( maybe there is also some color in the border at the same time - cannot remember ).
At this time you have to insert disk 5 !
Then, when this clicking happens again, you have to swap disk 5 exactly against the disk which was in the drive before disk 5.
If you fuck something up here then the game won't run correctly !
We definitely need a non-messy 4 disk version...

Until then I've been using the .IPFs but that doesn't help real Amiga users.

Nope, this is a clear sign that I've to re-crack it

There is only one cracked version available for WotD and is the 5 disks version by SR (actually two versions.. one working and one not).
And two +1 trainer for this version (one by SR and one by Switch).

My original request is more tan 10 years old. I had some chat with this person via private messages.
He told me that he has already created a 4-Disk version with some space for a trainer, but at that time he has not made a proper trainer, so no release until now.
Years ago friendship is broken for various reasons, so cant ask him again.

You could have mentioned my name, wouldn't have changed anything! And the reason for the "broken friendship" was your behaviour, not more, not less!

And guess what, I still didn't code a proper trainer menu for my WOTD 4-disk version (even though all trainer options are implemented for all levels) and you know why? Because I do it when I feel like doing it and sometimes things take longer than expected. And I don't care if you like that or not as I know that you don't have any clue how much work certain things are and what real life (TM) means.

yeah, its not that hard to find out the name of this person if you use Search function of this forum.
...the rest of the post is the usual arrogant behaviour and an successful attempt to warm up our enmity!

I have to ask, is this statement still valid, especially after this person has shown himself, and supposed pm from him to you?
Just the true!

?
I really struggle to understand you.
Do you see somewhere that something has changed?
StingRay has his crack, I have mine.
It may be that my version, his version, our version or no version are coming out.
Exactly like before.

you even do not deny, that you immediately have got a pm from this person
I think he has not encouraged you to finish your version, afterwards he would be pissed off!

That's the truth!

mai; what are you on about?

Why do you think Stingray has PM'd ross? And even if he has, so what? I really doubt he would ask ross not to release his version

Just relax man and wait for whoever to release this when they are ready

Yes, I received a PM, but certainly not for the reason you thought

It is clear that you do not get along with StingRay (and vice versa), but this is not the place and the way to discuss it.

Please stop...
