Probably because I directly linked to the file
If you are not registered you cannot view any downloads from the webpage Quote:
Unfortunately like I said above, you will need to install / use LusSpace and then you can flick through them all |

NEVAH!!!
I shall search and search, even if it keeps me from enjoy christmas/new year time, until I'll find a way to view'em without the use of LustSpace! Besides, arn't they kinda like breaking some international/graphical/GPL/SDL laws using the same name for their not-a-png format |

Here's a screenshot archive for the most SNES games:
http://localarcade.com/screenshotarc...creenshots.htm No LusSpace crap, these PNG's works fine with every viewer, with correct GoodRom/GoodTools names. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 25 December 2007 at 05:56. |

Verrrrry interrresting, Retro-Nerd. But it seems that some screenshots are screwed up (e.g., check the Jaguar game archive.)
Do you know if there are achives of screenshots downloadable like this for Amiga and PC games (both retr0 and modern0)? (00ps, I think I contracted Zetr"0" wackiness.) |

Yeah, looks like 2-3 Jaguar games are screwed up. Probably broken/unemulated rom dumps.
For Amiga shots: Check the Gamebase Amiga screenshot archive. http://gbamiga.elowar.com/files/@Main/ |

Not in the biggest archive it seems, I'm looking at Super Probotector since it has a jeep with a gun... just need a nerd to play it for me - I die after like 15 seconds. I always hated those "touch any moving thing once and you die" games. Grr!

Okay i was interested why those LusSpace png's dont load .. And after a good half hour messing with them it seems they are XOR scrambled (encrypted?). The 'key' is 0x58 0x9F 0xE9 0xBE 0x19 0xC0 0xA1 0xFB.
I could drop a little (20k) app (needs .net on your machine) in the zone to decode them if needed, but i think your past using these now eh. Thanks tho, I had my fun working em out. |

Thx DamienD, yes my bro and I confirmed that
Super Probotector aka Alien Rebels aka Contra III is indeed the game! Too fucking hard tho, bro's enthusiasm soon turned into anger at the developers. Touch anything moving once, and you die. 3 lives, game over. 3 continues don't really help, maybe if the sprites were smaller so some random enemy could pop in and its shot reach you in 0.4 seconds. (I'm not nerdy enough to memorize enemy attack patterns.) There are game tips, and I did find some pretty acrid reviews on the way... |
