Bubble and Squeak
Developer is Fox Williams. There isn't any logo in amiga version but judging form Megadrive logo (surnames of both game developers are both amiga and Megadrive version) it must be Fox Williams. Both names appear in Rat Trap where developer is also Fox Williams. Also published by Audiogenic.
This is amiga original because Sunsoft version (megadrive version) was licensed. Wikipedia claims that developer of amiga version was under the name Barney & Clyde but I haven't find any proof of this. |

Added the Amiga original info for the three entries. Developer info is a bit vague, so I'll have a at the disks later.

Original Design by Pat Fox and Scott Williams => This game is a megadrive original game passed then on amiga. Amiga programming : Alex slater & Ray Price Graphics by Pat fox with help from Richard Smith sound and Music by Allister Brimble => the rest is as usual I did some research and bubble and squeak clearly belong to Sunsoft. |

Check the back casing of the megadrive game. It's written : Created and developped by fox Williams for Audiogenic Ltd. Sunsoft is the publisher, and the year is 1993. The amiga release is 1994 (and not 1995 as stated on HOL). The conclusion is there |

The megadrive box says publishing date is 1993. The amiga box 1994. Megadrive is original, amiga second. The printed info is a fact, not my opinion |

I can't see Sunsoft being the Amiga publisher since they are a Japanese company that published console games. Audiogenic would be the publisher.

Exactly, Sunsoft is only publisher for Megadrive. But this is even more confusing - those dates.
On the other hand most reviews for SMD version were from april 1994 no sooner. Last edited by haynor666; 19 May 2011 at 08:38. |

Okay, I've asked Peter Calver of Audiogenic directly:
- The Amiga version was the original one. - Pat Fox and Scott Williams designed the game and brought it to Audiogenic. - Peter had been in touch with Sunsoft before and so asked them to publish the Megadrive version. And some great trivia: - The name comes from the meal that Peter had with Sunsoft at a restaurant in London. Sunsoft liked the name and so it was released as "Bubble & Squeak" rather than the original name of "Barney & Clyde". This is why the trademark notice in the manual mentions Sunsoft. |
