I installed the uae4all emulator from the play store, but i'm unable to get working the options menu. What are the method for touch-only screens?. Since my phone lacks physical buttons apart menu and power, what is the procedure to move through the options?.
I forgot to say that i try to move the cursors with the virtual joystick, but no luck.

Any installation guides out there. tried putting a Kick Rom in the right directory but get the 'no valid kick.rom found' message. Too 'dumb' to work it out (sure I read something about correct rom version number?).

It look as you activated tick "Move mouse with joystick or trackball" in SDL-settings (Mouse emulation->Advanced features). When start app try go to SDL-settings and disable this tick. This feature designed in libSDL not for uae4all2 and i will try to disable it in future versions.

Please check size of kickrom file.
must be 512k size

256k rom files are not supported
also not supported kickroms from A3000 and 4000
Supported kickroms only from A500, A600 and A1200

Make sure kick roms are correctly named i.e. kick13.rom or kick31.rom

I really wish uae4all2 would have a text file included with it to tell you where to install the kick rom files, I had to go back onto GooglePlay to find out.

You know, I've watched UAE4All reappear and be updated on all sorts of platforms for the past several years and yet one silly issue still remains: why can't it be made to support 256k roms? Sticking to the incorrectly-overdumped 1.x roms doesn't make sense to me.

@lubomyr: w00t! the emulator has always been good but the GUI has not been the most intuitive, so it's nice to see it getting fixed.

I really like the new UI, thanks a lot for it . Also, many games didn't work in past releases are working now. This is certainly, one of the best Amiga emulators for Android.

Only one suggestion: Couldn't you add a config tab with a configuration list and 2 buttons to save a new configuration and for loading the selected one?

Just something like WinUAE.

Thanks for updating, it's been the same GUI for years since it was first made on the GamePark Handhelds. Finally someone has bothered to do it. Now all we need is a bigger & better on-screen keyboard and much better touch screen Mouse support (I would like the mouse to move and left click at the position I touch the screen and also have the option to manually left/right click with an on-screen button (for when you don't want the mouse to click). Hopefully it's in the works.

Yes, I have mouse control, but currently it's very poor on this emulator. When you touch the screen the mouse pointer appears nowhere near your finger. It's like a poor laptop touchpad (It gets more out of sync near the edges of the screen). I was asking if it was possible to improve the mouse support so when you touch the screen the mouse will register exactly where your finger is (like SCUMMVM for instance). For example, if you double tapped a folder with your finger in workbench it would open it instead of having to move the out of sync pointer to the folder first.

Also is there any chance of you being able to improve the on-screen Amiga keyboard, currently it's tiny and you have to move the selection with the onscreen d-pad. I know there is an option to bring up the Android keyboard but that doesn't contain important Amiga only keys.

Also interesting to implement same UI to another amiga emulators as e-uae which have multicpu,zorro3mem, picasso96 and bsdsocket support.

I have plans to implement virtual keyboard or some keys which not included in default android keyboard

Implement of direct touch on needed position theoretically possible, but practical is too hard to implement, because used emulation environment with different screenmodes. Same problem with others (not only amiga) emulators like dosbox.
ScummVM not used any emulation code, only engines of games which builded direct for needed platform. It complete different situation.

Another changes from open-pandora beta version 2.4.0.0 from 18.12.2013:
- Bugfix: M68000 addressing mode "register indirect with index" (caused crash in Arabian Nights and some more)
- Added: Custom mapping for joystick left/right/down possible
- Changed: Better differentiation of M68000 and M68020 specific emulation
- Changed: CPU cycles for M68020
The previous version of uae4all simply halves the M68000 cycles. Now we are using a more realistric
timing. As long as there isn't enough performance to emulate the instruction cache and the pipeline
of the M68020, we asume that every fetch is done from cache and there is no pippeline. This gives us
a good approach to the real M68020.
You may notice a slowdown in M68020 emulation now. This is because we have to emulate more M68020
opcodes per timeslot than in previous version, but some performance enhancements brings us close to
previous fps.
- 256K Kickstart roms now supported

Reported problems with specific games (now working):
- Aaargh: not loading
- Addams Family: crash after intro
- Arabian Nights: crash after title pic
- Shadow of the Beast: crash when you move to the right
- Zeewolf 2: freezes when you go into the weapons selection screen
There was no freeze, just use cursor keys (R + joypad) to navigate.
- SlamTilt AGA (whdload-version)
- Prince of persia (very slow)

I reserved area for gui buttons: "load config" and "save config as" but i hope it will be ready in next versions

I first want to congrat you on your work. I'm playing on nvidia shield with kgload on a 1200 config with 8m fast and this is awesome! I finally got to get my portable amiga!! the level of compatibility is really great!

now in terms of controls here's how it works:
- mouse is emulated through touchscreen which is not great but ok
- I mapped left and right mouse buttons on left and right buttons of the gamepad
- joystick emulation uses the left analog stick of the gamepad. X is fire and A autofire. very good!
- keyboard emulation is great. I just press B and get to choose keys on amiga keyboard. quite convenient!!

so I don't know how easily this can be done but ideally here is what I suggest to improve the port on this platform:

- Shield gamepad has one d-pad and two analog sticks so it would be nice to be able to map mouse and joystick to anyone oh those. especially for the mouse. I tried all of the mapping options but none of them seemed to work..
-and this is it!!

thx again for this great piece of software. the new gui is great as well!
